"We had a great time and the weather was very kind to us. We had planned to go further afield but only managed the Isle of Wight for a day as we found so much to do in the Portsmouth & Gosport area. The flat was lovely and within easy reach of Waitrose - bonus! The bedroom was indeed very light and airy as in the description. The welcome hamper was thoroughly enjoyed, a nice touch. Thanks again for everything. The next Portsmouth Navy Days (reason for our visit) will be in 2012 so we may well be back!"

Did you find my note about the loose cold tap in the bathroom (note from owner – now fixed). We enjoyed our stay so much that we hope to come again."

We would not hesitate to book it again as it was in easy reach of Portsmouth, Gosport, Lee on Solent, etc. A thoughtful touch by the owner Ben was a basket containing biscuits, a carton of orange juice, chocolate, and a nice bottle of wine."
