10 minute walk to the beach!

Linden House features an ideal location situated in the pretty residential area of Alverstoke with the unspoilt Stokes Bay Beach just five minutes from the apartment. The Town Centre is a short walk where a ferry provides easy access to the vibrant Gunwharf Quays at Portsmouth, with its excellent waterfront restaurants, bars and shops. Portsmouth is the home of the The Spinnaker Tower and Historical Dockyard where you can enjoy many attractions including Nelson’s famous ship HMS Victory, the Mary Rose and HMS Warrior .

The property is next to a cycle track that leads down to the beach so you can use the 2 bikes provided with our compliments (one ladies, one mountain bike). The Isle of Wight is less than 20 minutes from Gosport where on the Fast Cat ferry cycles go free!

A superb public transport network includes a foot passenger ferry from Gosport to Portsmouth (a 5-minute journey), and regular train and bus services ensuring easy access to all areas. With the mainly flat area and nearest bus stop a minute from the apartment, guests find a car is not essential. You can also reach Portsmouth by road via the M27 motorway.

You have the choice of two local beaches whilst on holiday here. Stokes Bay Beach with its unspoilt coastline, wine bar and bistro and wonderful views. Popular for sunbathing, sailing and windsurfing. Lee on Solent Beach is located a ten minute drive from the property, offering a variety of restaurants with many jet skiers and kite surfers enjoying the facilities available.
